More Info

This Tahitian-inspired Captiva retreat is the perfect setting for the owner’s relaxing getaways. The privacy wall of graceful bamboo, areca and fishtail palms provides a buffer to the outside world and creates the tranquil illusion of being on your own private island.

The entry drive of curved coconuts is reminiscent of an old coconut plantation. The tropical gardens and stunning tropical colors reflect off the dark mahogany exterior of the house.  A unique guesthouse is highlighted by raised planters.  The pool deck of dark epa wood is anchored on the north end with an outdoor fireplace and appointed with multiple planters containing tropical palms, white bird of paradise and ponytail palms.  The background buffers of bamboo and clusia create the feel of a private island reflecting pool.

The pool and home views are open to the dunes of seaoats and dune sunflower to provide an awe-inspiring view of the Gulf of Mexico and white beaches. Everything about this home and landscape says ‘Relax’.
